In industrial and transport automated systems, sensors of physical quantities are information devices, and electrical machines and pneumatic devices are actuating devices. The design and maintenance of industrial and transport automated systems requires a high level of competence in the fields of physical quantity sensors, electrical machines and pneumatic devices. As the title of the course suggests, it consists of two parts. The lecture part of the course is devoted to the principles of construction, features of functioning and characteristics of sensors of physical quantities, electrical machines and pneumatic devices, as well as methods for calculating their parameters. When performing laboratory work, students examine sensors of physical quantities, electrical machines and pneumatic devices on specialized stands of Lucas-Nülle GmbH. Theoretical knowledge is used by students to process, analyze and present the results of laboratory research.
