The course is designed to develop the student's professional competencies necessary for the engineering design of embedded electronic systems, industrial automation devices, telecommunications devices and computer networks. After completing the training course, students are able to independently make technically sound decisions, are able to determine the main and particular tasks of the project, are able to plan the stages of performing design tasks in a group of performers, are able to coordinate and analyze the results of the design stages in a team, are able to present design results. Design is carried out in groups consisting of three people. Each group is given a separate design specification. The lecture part is devoted to the consideration of approaches and organization of design stages. During practical classes, students perform research, modeling or development of elements of embedded electronic systems, industrial automation devices, telecommunications devices and computer networks, perform software implementation of the operation algorithms of the designed devices and test them
