With the introduction of computer-aided design systems at enterprises, the functions of an engineer-developer of electronic equipment change significantly, so this training course introduces students to the principles of organization and methods of computer-aided design and modeling of electronic devices, as well as the features of automated development of printed circuit boards and the preparation of design documentation for the developed electronic circuits and devices. During practical classes, students study the features of computer-aided design of electronic devices in the Cadence OrCAD computer-aided design system. During laboratory work, students develop the skills and abilities of designing and modeling electronic devices and printed circuit boards in the Cadence OrCAD system, as well as formatting design results in a form corresponding to design documentation.
