In this course, the basic concept of cellular telecommunication technologies are considered. For generations 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G the services, architectures, principals included in technologies are analyzed and compared. Methods of increasing efficiency of cellular telecommunication systems are discussed. As an example of satellite system, Globalstar is overviewed
