This course will provide students with knowledge about design methodologies in engineering applicable to robotic, mechatronic and cyber-physical systems by tackling a design project where creative and critical thinking will be developed. At the same time, students will learn about the main structural components of robotic systems and basic considerations for their design or selection while becoming acquainted with principles of computer simulation of mechanical and mechatronic components.
