    Emmanuel Merchan foto2Professor Merchán has more than 20 years of academic and research experience, delivering courses to undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of Robotics, Soft Computing, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing, at the same time he has held several academic and research-related administrative posts. Author and co-author of more than 60 research publications in journals and conference proceedings, an active participant in international scientific projects. His current research interests include Robotics, Trajectory Planning, Soft Computing, Mechanical Design Optimization, and Biomechanics.

    Aleksandr MedvedevProfessor Medvedevs has more than 30 years of academic and research experience in Logistics, Transport and Aviation; as well as more than 20 years in academic and research administrative positions. Author and co-author of more than 130 scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings, 3 inventions and 27 textbooks and educational materials. His current research interests include Logistics, Transport and Aviation.

    Maksims Solaninovs fotoAssit. Professor Smolaninovs has more than 5 years of academic and research experience delivering courses to undergraduate students in the areas of Aviation Engineering (Heat engine theory and construction, Technical drawing, Diagnostics and Maintenance check-up) and Logistics; and one year in academic and research administration positions. He has authored and co-authored 18 research publications in journals and conference proceedings, and he is a participant in international scientific projects. His current research interests include Heat engines, CAD and Operational practice.

    Assistant to the Dean
    Karina KostjkinaMg. Sc. Kostjkina has more than 20 years of academic experience delivering courses to undergraduate students related to Information Technologies. She has participated in 5 different research projects and has experience as a distance learning manager. She has co-authored several methodological books for students and lecture notes. On several occasions, she has been appointed as Secretary of the Attestation Commission for the "Bachelor of Natural Sciences in Computer Science", "Master of Natural Sciences in Computer Science" and "Management of Information Systems" programs. She has been an academic supervisor of more than 80 bachelor’s theses with a successful defence. Current research interests include Modern Software Engineering, Software Quality Estimation, and Software Testing.
