Simulation modelling is a method to research complex systems, based on developing a computer model, which reproduces the structure and behaviour of the real system and conducting experiments with it. The particularities of the simulation modelling are the dynamic description of the processes; algorithmic approach to describe the behaviour of the system. This significantly expands the expressive ability and scope of the method in comparison with the mathematical description. Simulation modelling widely used in different application areas as a decision support tool.
